The Bible story of Abraham's servant who seek for a wife for Isaac. When the servant asks for a drink, Rebekah gives him a drink. Then she draws water for the camels. This was an answer to the servants prayer to reveal who should be Isaac's wife. This painting "Rebekah at the Well"was created first by Michael Deas in 1995. Because this image has been a favorite of mine I have recreated it as a study in figure, drapery and landscape. The above acrylic/ oil painting was painted by Dara Wells 2015. The Way Back
After four wonderful years in Texas, we're heading back to the Northwest! Our trip will take us from Texas, which we have loved, to our new home in Mukilteo, Washington. Travel starts August 12th, and we hope to see some old friends along the way.
